WE ARE A DESIGN AND FABRICATION STUDIO IN ATLANTA, GA.
THE WHOLE PACKAGE
2point5 is a design firm up front with a prototyping and manufacturing space in the back. This allows us to test our ideas just a few steps from our offices. We can ideate, design, create and quickly refine prototypes until we achieve a design that satisfies client requirements, budget and schedule.
At 2point5, we are industrial designers, fabricators, welders, machinists, painters, and material specialists, dedicated to creating unique solutions. We are fluent in traditional fabrication processes which we combine with advanced digital technologies to consistantly deliver innovative, cost-effective products and solutions.
WHAT DRIVES US
Attention to detail and quality drive everything that we do — whether its making a one off artistic piece, to designing and manufacturing complex aftermarket automotive accessories, or designing plastic parts for mass production.
A HOLISTIC APPROACH
Our design and fabrication studio offers a variety of services but we don't define ourselves as fabricators. Fabrication is one of many important capabilities that we offer, but we have more to offer than the production and assembly of parts. Years of experience allow us to solve complicated manufacturing challenges and create value for our clients through custom consultation and manufacturing.
DESIGN AND THINKING
Whether you have a prototype or just an idea, we can help you develop your project to take it from a sketch to reality. Our designers and fabricators work together to concept and produce high quality prototypes, pre-production models, and ready to ship manufactured products.
We have a variety of 3 and 4 axis CNC machines for milling prototypes and producing parts out of wood, foam, and plastic. Our laser cutter allows for smoke free cutting and engraving of a variety of papers and plastics, we can also engrave anodized aluminum.
Our casting station allows us to quickly replicate existing parts or create new ones in quantity. We can machine or 3D print master patterns and produce parts in various urethane elastomers to meet any of your color, finish, and durability needs.
We have a full service wood shop featuring numerous router tables, planers, joiners, a chop saw, table saw, sanders, and a mill to produce any wood, plastic or foam products. We combine our traditional wood shop with our advanced technologies, like laser cutting, to quickly make jigs and templates.
Our medium format vacuum forming machine can pull parts up to 24 x 36 x 12 inches. Vacuum forming is a great way to get cost effective strong, seamless, and smooth parts. We make custom jigs to eliminate webbing and to ensure an even pull.
